# Should I quit my job or wait to be fired?

I have not brought it up. I don’t know if I will. It will buy me more time if my boss thinks that I don’t know what’s going on. And I do not trust her to be honest about it anyway. I don’t want to get into details but the company recently split after a long power struggle and the working environment is full of mistrust.

No, I’ve been in all the orientation meetings. These are strategy meetings.

Not at all. k9bfriender is right.  
The OP has not been given a timeline to train his assistant (replacement). So he should develop a 3 month training program. It’s not on the OP to follow a timeline he was never given. If he is let go before the training program is finished, that’s not the OP’s fault since he’s being lied to.
