Oh, almost forgot. If they’re socks fresh out of shoes, there’s good chance their moist and/or funky. Not something I want rubbing up on me (even potentially) during sex. Ick. ---

Take. The. Socks. Off. I culd not have sex with a man in his socks. In fact, I’d have serious issues with a man who thought not taking his socks off was an option. Socks=Bromide. ---

When you fantasize about sexy women, do you picture them wearing nothing but socks? Most likely not. Well, women have aesthetic needs, too. And those likely involve not wearing socks. Plus, wearing socks implies that you are holding something back. It implies that the act is going to be short (and not in a sexy pants-around-the-knees way) and that your not entirely committed to all the rubbing and touching (which sometimes involves bare feet) that so often accompanies good sex. ---

Honestly, if you go through the effort of removing all of the other articles of clothing, take the damn socks off at the same time. No one said you had to make a special trip to do it. Do it when you take off your shoes, or your boxers, or whatever. _Just take them off, for the love of the children, take them off!!!_ ---

Oddly, this came up in court. And it involved sex. And it involved a movie star. No no–not _my_ trial. That involved ownership of a gyroscope with great religious significance. But, I digress. When Errol Flynn was put on trial for foolin’ around with an (allegedly, & there was quite a bit o’ doubt on the subject) underage girl, the young person in question insisted that he wore socks the whole time because his “footsies” got cold. ---

If your feet are cold, leave the damned socks on… if not, take them off! Whilst in the realms of passion, I really wouldn’t notice if the socks were on or not! Hopefully, there’d be more exciting things happening than ogling some guy’s feet?! 😃 ---

Hi. My name is Goo and I wear my socks in winter, no matter what else is going on. My feet are like two ice blocks. I don’t even feel like sex if I’m shivering because my feet are freezing. In summer, it’s all off, but in winter, they’re staying on. For me, it’s the difference between being fully focussed on the sex, then collapsing beside each other and drifting off to sleep, or constantly trying to keep my feet under the quilt during sex, followed by a few minutes of feet rubbing while my partner snores, to warm them back up to a level where I can try and sleep. I prefer to enjoy the sex and have my partner deal with the socks. Same as he deals with my cellulite and I deal with his smelly feet and odd grunting noises. We’re lovers, not porn stars and every night is not “SHOWTIME”, we’re just sharing our love. Much more important things than worrying about apparel are going on in my bed. ---

If you’ve still got your pants halfway on, leave the socks on. Otherwise lose the damn things. Your feet will get warmed up during the act so there should be no “cold feet” excuse. I agree there’s usually no sexy way to remove them during foreplay or intercourse. If you can remove them in one smooth movement (grab the toe and pull hard) and then toss them across them room then that usually doesn’t spoil the mood. Otherwise just get rid of 'em before you start. ---

Do you seriously not find someone wearing only socks odd-looking? Oh, well, it takes all sorts. But trust us, it’s annoying. I generally find I’m wearing them afterwards and feel stupid. Try and get them off somewhere in the stripping phase - she’ll probably appreciate the time to hide hers as well 🙂 ---

Flashback of an old episode of _One day at a time_. Valerie Bertanelli (sp?) scores a painful zinger on Schneider when she says “Your idea of romantic is taking your socks off”. Therefore, you are worse than Schneider. I’m not sure if you are old enough to realize how bad that is. 🙂 ---
