[/QUOTE] You know, I logged on briefly this am, but then looked at the clock and had to scramble to get out the door to get to work on time, but I recall thinking ‘whothefuck is this’ when I saw a bunch of threads bumped and all posted to by the same shiney new guest. Apparently “Shiney” and “new” are relative terms. ---

Greetings! Well, I’ve only been here a month (?) and it seems to me that if member A tells member B _directly_ that they ‘made something up’ it is no different than calling them a liar. Being told that what one has said is ‘Untrue’ when it’s merely something one related as a personal experience (usually to prove a point or make one) is calling them a liar too. I’ve been called a liar at LEAST twice in the last hour and today’s my birthday! It only serves to make one feel like participating less when one cannot tell the truth without having it disputed. On the lengthy ‘Religion’ threat in GD, it appears to be open season. Rules of libel should apply here, but if we’re not going to go that route, we should at least adhere to socially acceptable etiquette. JMHO. Have a great day ya’ll! Jesse. ---
