Damn … March 8th is right in the middle of Rain Gutter Awareness Week … Meh … women are only good for three things … being corporate officers, holding the highest political offices and advancing academia … they just have too much extra genetic material to properly scrub out sewer lines, choke jet airplane tires or dig assholes in the ground (or is that a hole?) … Let’s see, brown hamburger, add a cup of water, pour in contents of flavor packet, then add noodles … simmer for 18 minutes … ---

Sure, let’s have a day for all men who feel that the contributions of men to our society don’t get enough recognition to stay home in protest. Heck, why not make it a yearly tradition? Unfortunately, March 8th is already taken by International Women’s Day. Might I suggest instead, the first Tuesday after November 1st? ---

Somehow, I dont think Linus is going to answer me. But I really am curious as to what prompted him to start this thread three times, and what he thinks the Day Without Men will accomplish. I understand what a Day Without immigrants and a Day Without Women is meant to say, but what does this protest mean? ---

I keep reading this as “A Day Without Mon” and thinking “No that wouldn’t be a good idea, because all the other days end in -day too, so you wouldn’t be able to tell them apart”. Which, I humbly submit, makes just as much sense as the OP does. ---
