Also, American toilets have more water in them than Irish toilets. I dunno how much that impacts the amount of splash on floor when standpeeing. ---

I stand up, even being a two-streamer. Sometimes, however, it’s impossible to get both in the toilet while using reasonable pressure, I’ll sit rather than mop up. ---

If the urine stream is strong, it will come out as a unitary flow, but if the pressure is too low to push the lobes apart, the urine will go to the upper and lower gaps and form two streams, or sometimes it comes out as a sort of sheet that converges like a triangle before dividing into two streams. Of course, every penis is different (collect yourself an entire set!) some men have less of an issue than others. ---

In my case it happens more than 50% of the time, it’s not a temporary “clotting”. Apparently, the meatus’ length causes it. ---

And, it isn’t a bit of dried “mucous”… you know what it is. At most it happens for half of a second, while you are rubbing the “crust” out of your eyes, you realize what is happening, and you stop and rub the “crust” out of the other eye. Back to a normal flow. Then you grab your cloths and try to leave without waking her. A 90 degree “side stream” isn’t at all normal for the duration of the piss. ---
