# Should Obama Reconsider Closing Gitmo?

They also could have the same type of blood lust that some of the Republicans have. It isn’t like there aren’t more than a few Democrats that would happily torture someone that they consider to be an enemy.

I think it’s cowardice, because they consistently cave in and suck up to the Republicans; regardless of whether it serves their interest or not.
