Redheads may date other redheads so long as they don’t reproduce together. The danger of critical mass is unacceptable. ---

Absolutely not. I think **CaerieD** has a point, that redheads are solitary creatures. I’m glad I’m the only one in my entire family. Since I don’t plan on ever having children and both my sisters appear to be done having them, it’s unlikely that we’ll have any more any time soon. I can live with that. Anyway, I like guys with brown hair. ---

I say go for it. I think people with red hair are often quite attractive (yes, even male redheads…if I hadn’t already fallen in love with a dark haired boy, I’d be willing to date [the dude on wikipedia’s entry about red hair](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Red_Headed_Young_Man.jpg)). Redheads add some interest and novelty to the world just by being different (for the same reason, I find green eyes very appealing). So, I think the more redheads that get together to produce additional redheads, the better. 🙂 ---

I could have written this word for word to describe my experience with a string of red headed girlfriends. In fact one of them presented as a brunette and I was rather proud of myself for breaking the red headed streak until I found out that she was actually a redhead under the dye job. Skinny, mentally unstable, extroverted redheaded girls with green eyes is where it’s at for me (and freckles aren’t a deal breaker), although there’s nothing preventing me from being attracted to blondes or brunettes. Interesting, too, that I (brown hair, introvert) seem to be able to be reciprocally attractive to redheads. And I will also disagree with **Skipmagic**. There is something inherently unique to the disposition of redheads. ---

Doesn’t this happen all the time in a place like Ireland? Well there’s the alien type redhead(with freckles, orangey hair, pale skin) and then there’s the supermodel type redheads. In fact the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen is a redhead(and the hugest bitch unfortunately) but she’s the supermodel type without freckles and overly pale skin. What I’m saying is, if you don’t look like Isla Fisher, stay away from other redheads; the union will only produce a purer form of Evil Alien. ---

Tis just an article.) Though I myself am a sucker for Green eyes, so whatever hair color comes along with that, I’m most appreciative of it. ---

I lived with one for nine years…we were never mistaken for siblings. Oh, and both of his kids were gingers…it made for some interesting times at our house. ---

I’m a redheaded girl and I would happily date Damian Lewis too - he’s _gorgeous_! In all seriousness, I like my own red hair and would regard it as silly to turn down a date with an attractive man on the basis of him having similar colouring. Plus it might eventually be kind of cool to raise an army of gingers. ---

I’ve never met a redhaired guy who didn’t immediately remind me of my brother, who is also a redhead. Urgh. No thanks. Also, the bar is higher for redhaired guys. I tend to be attracted to darker men (a pattern emerges? maybe it’s linked to the red-hair gene!), so he’d have to be pretty freakin’ hot just to get my attention, and since there are so few of them in the first place… and then there’s still that squicky brother factor… nah. ---
