# Should the Politics forum sticky include a link?

Shouldn’t the [2010 U.S. Election forum is now open](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/announcement.php?f=2) sticky include a link to the forum?

I don’t think the forum is hard to find, but I went ahead and added a link to the sticky as you suggested.

(Actually, since the sticky is _in_ the 2010 U.S. Election forum, there’s a link to it right at the top when you open the thread. But since it’s an announcement, it shows up at the tops of all forums, and people might not notice that they changed forums when they opened the announcement. A little extra direction can’t hurt, I suppose 😉 )
