I noticed that the default time in my “Show Threads From” box in each forum has mysteriously changed from “Last 5 days” to “Last Day”. This occured sometime early this afternoon. **I** didn’t do anything to change it, so my question is:

Is this just a message board quirk, or was it done intentionally? It occured to me (in my ignorance) that having a shorter window might speed up the board, and the staff may have reset the defaults on purpose. If that’s the case I’ll leave it as is.

I modified the default number of days to show posts in each forum from 5 days down to 1 day. It was done to reduce the amount of work the web server has to do. If people wish a different value from the default it can be configured to something else in your profile.

Very good. Thanks for the info. In the spirit of trying to be a good Web citizen, I’ll leave it as is.
