I couldn’t find a working web cam within 20 miles of my home, but I did find an aerial photo of my neighborhood. Here’s a [storage facility webcam](http://www.guardian-storage.com/webcam.htm) in my town. How lame. And it’s the only Windsor one I can find. Here’s one from [Detroit](http://www.earthcam.com/usa/michigan/detroit/dsc/), which is where I spend half my time anyway, at work. Well, heres the only cam I could find of The Couv! I couldn’t get any of the links to connect from [earthcam.com](http://earthcam.com) but I can describe my home town in one word - perfect. It is another blue skies/sunshine day, the high will be 72 degrees, and tonight we will enjoy the Festival of Lights parade in downtown Palm Springs, California. If anyone finds a link that actually works, check it out - it is a gorgeous day here. Shorts, t-shirt, bike ride and pool are all on the agenda today. ---

Forgot to mention the tamale festival in Indio, California (just down the road from PS) this weekend. Every kind of tamale immaginable, and then some. What a fantastic weekend to reside here in the sunny Coachella Valley! ---

I’m about 7 minutes from [Oklahoma State University](http://pio.okstate.edu/) and about five minutes from [Eskimo Joes](http://eskimojoes.com/)in Stillwater. About an hour and a half from the [Oklahoma City National Memorial](http://www.oklahomacitynationalmemorial.org/) in OKC and roughly the same distance from [Oral Roberts University](http://www.oru.edu/) in Tulsa. ---

Cool! I’m currently directly underneath [this](http://campuscam.iupui.edu/default.html) camera at IUPUI (Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis). If anyone wants, give me a time tomorrow on Sunday, and I’ll go stand in front of preset #2 (you’ll see a pyramid shaped fountain). I’ll be the guy waving. This camera is pretty cool. You can control where it is pointed, and the zoom on it. You only get about 2 minutes, but that’s still pretty neat. ---
