I use a plain blue background on my laptop, because it’s a tablet and it gets all stretchy and generally isn’t worth it to have a normal background, since I rotate the screen so often. On my desktop, and other laptop, I use [this](http://thewondrous.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/space-walk_1818_1440x900.jpg) and [this](http://wanderingspace.net/wp-content/uploads/2007/08/earth-shuttle-docked.jpg) respectively. Although it changes to different space related stuff whenever I sit down in front of them (which isn’t that often). ---

Right now I have a photo of my Triumph’s [motor](http://i493.photobucket.com/albums/rr295/justmagnus/1976%20T140V/MotorAssembly3.jpg) in the process of being rebuilt. I like to think it’s a bit of an art photo. 🙂 ---

Would a spinoff thread dealing with Windows 95 themes appeal to anybody? If so, I could mention my Blade Runner theme that had [this eye at startup](http://www.biocrawler.com/w/images/4/40/BladeRunner_Eye.jpg) and [this one at shutdown](http://home.swipnet.se/intelligent/hemsidor/blade/pix/monitor_eye.jpg) (or vice versa – I forget.) ---

I had a [saturn pic](http://ciclops.org//media/ir/2006/2230_6162_1.jpg) for a while, then the Windows 7 standard, and just today I switched to this [Lego Portal pic](http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/qthering/VideoGames/Portal/portal_copy.jpg). I don’t think it will last too long, though. On my cell phone I’ve got [this one](http://www.esa.int/images/s119e010500.jpg) of the ISS. ---
