Shower curtain liners: cloth or plastic?

Yeah, that’s the crux of the matter, IMO. I posted upthread about using a woven nylon curtain, although I hadn’t noticed that the OP is asking about liners, which I don’t use. Things got better fast when I started taking the time to extend the curtain after showering to let it dry properly. Also, mine hangs from an unmounted, spring-loaded rod, so I can move the whole thing back a few inches so that the curtain hangs over the tub instead of clinging to its sides.

And that’s a whole lot more than I ever thought I’d tell people about my shower.

You can’t beat just letting things air out, when it comes to forestalling mould.
