I had a colleague, a lead engineer type, who was infamous for his “thoughts while shaving”. I wished he would shave faster so we would be spared more of his hairbrained “insights”. In other words, “shower thoughts” can be insightful, but IME they’re usually a nuisance. Especially if shared by someone who expects you to act accordingly. ---

I’m not sure I have ever had a memorable thought while shaving. I certainly agree these things can be platitudes or pretentious gimcrackery. Some are better than others. ---
