I’m not a huge fan of Bush, but making fun of someone’s injuries is kind of petty and lame, and given your usually thoughtful posts, kind of surprising. ---

Given the fact that the injuries were minor, one must admit there is an amusing side to it. And it seems that GWB is willing to be somewhat self-mocking about it. Granted, it’s not much above the level of humor exhibited by laughing at a stuffed shirt slipping on a banana peel. But I don’t really see the pettiness in it myself. ---

Owie. Stingy. Looks like he could hide things in that hole in his hand. As for mouth guards, I don’t know about bikers but hockey and football players wear 'em because they help prevent concussions. I suspect the POTUS is strongly urged to take extra precautions. ---
