Home from hunting.

As we pulled into the driveway two little groundhogs were playing together, so cute.
Anyway, the realtor recommended a house and itâs outside of my price range but she talked to the selling agent and he said make an offer anyway. Iâll be offering @75% of the asking price but if they say no, they say no. Itâs bank owned and been on the market for almost a year so who knows. The neighbors seem really nice, one stopped my friend to ask if we were buying and to say how nice the neighborhood is except for the two ladies on the corner who like to gossip. Another asked if we liked the house and if we thought we might be buying it. She repeated that the neighborhood is nice except for the two ladies on the corner who like to gossip.
So anyway, Iâll be making an offer on it tomorrow. It needs a little bit of work, both doors and some of the wood trim have peeling paint. FHA wonât like it but I can get the 203K and ask for extra money to scrape and paint.

My duct tape isnât broken. Why would I repair it?
Fear not, I have fixed plenty of things with duct tape. Iâve even made âropeâ and a gasket for a Jeep engine with the stuff.

So lemme get this straight, not one but _two_ people who youâve never met before, & may never see again were gossiping about two other women, who are supposedly the gossips on the street???
Me thinks that either they _are_ the two [del]ladies[/del] women (_ladies_ donât gossip) on the corner (talking about themselves in the third person) or this is a [del]street[/del] town you want no part of! :eek:

Good morning - Iâm up way too early because I woke up and couldnât fall back to sleep. I hate when that happens. So Iâm having some quiche (nom nom nom) while my sweetie snoozes.
I wanted to do laundry today, but the weather is supposed to be icky till the afternoon. Iâll wait till tomorrow when I know I can hang the laundry out. But weâre going to strip the bed and flip the mattress today. \*\*FCD \*\*doesnât know this yet - I like to keep an element of surprise in our marriage. đ
The big excitement will be emptying the kiln. Iâm hoping itâs a good excitement and not a âOMG WHAT HAPPENED???â excitement. Ever since that one time when a dish exploded, I worry just a little. Anyway, Iâll take pics of the cool stuff.
Beyond that, I intend to wing it today. Whatever happens, happens. As it should be on a Firday!

Good Morninâ Yâall! Up and caffienatinâ. _YAWN_ 'Tis \ 69! \ Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 90 for the day. Also a forty percent chance of rain and a 60 percent chance of rain tomorrow. Looks like no cee-mint pond time shall be had tomorrow.
**sari** sounds to me like you would need to get to be friends with the two ladies on the corner. They can tell you all about the two ladies who roam the neighborhood and like to gossip. đ Appropriate/inappropriate appendages crossed.
Ok, thatâs all I got. I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy is demandinâ sustenance. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence. Iâm hopinâ for a laid back day today. Yeah, I just made sure that wonât happen.

Happy Firday! I think
Itâs wet outside again today.
Yesterday it was raining so hard and I saw two women out walking in saris (not me, the silk kind) and they looked miserable.
Iâm waiting for the realtor to call and we can get started on the paperirk. She had an open house right after showing me the houses yesterday so weâll do that today.
\*\*Spidey \*\*and **Swampy** one of the neighbors who warned about the gossipy ladies is man. My friend told him I wonât be worried about any gossip because the most my neighbors will ever see of me is walking from the house to the car. Iâm the one who smiles and waves and keeps it moving. Good fences make good neighbors, be friendly but mind your own business.
It looks like a nice neighborhood, all the houses are kept up, lots of flowers, it looks quiet. The crime report shows 0 incidents in the area.
One day Iâm going to have to take a drive through Hagerstown and take pictures of some of the old houses. We saw one yesterday, and I know it sounds ugly, but it was blue with pink trim. It was impressive, a big old house with turrets. Thereâs another one in town, and once again it will sound ugly but it isnât, that is purple and turquoise.

Kiln is unloaded, pics going up. Some disappointment - one of the pots I spent a lot of time decorating has a huge crack in the bottom. Canât be fixed, so itâs garbage. _grrrrrrrrrr_ Others have color fade or loss of detail. I need to quit doing the detailed decorating and stick to what works best for me.

**rosie** , back yard is nice, but the house is \*waaaaaaaaay \*too country for my taste. Iâd have to replace all of the kitchen cabinets, tear out all of the wood paneling, and do something about those arches. Plus wood floors in the bedrooms doesnât do it for me. Nope, wouldnât buy it.
