I hope not. Although her observational instincts did, I think in retrospect, underlie her comment delivered, as I recollect to a table full of doctors and lawyers, that in HER profession she could be at workwithin 1/2 hour of landing in any city in the world, whether she knew how to speak the language or not.
I think the bit about the language came from hier anthropological perspective.

Those aren’t necessarily the same thing at all. It’s perfectly possible to post four responses to four posts back to back without doing any bumping. If the problem is with someone posting one reponses very far apart, with the obvious purpose of bumping, then sure, I can see the problem. That’s not what Xploder said, though, so I wanted to see if it’s a rule or guideline I’m not aware of.

Ah sorry, I was skimming. But no, responding one-to-one is fine. **Alaric** though has had many many occasions where he does a four (responses)-to-one (post), so it just sticks out a lot more when he is filling the thread, regardless that it might usually be excusable for a different poster. Sometimes the one post was his own first post.
Ya know, if we could somehow get him to comment on something he hadn’t yet written, we could start a neverending, feedback loop as he responded to each of his posts, each of which referred to each other. The world would implode! :eek:

You are correct. I look at that posting behaviour as nothing more than post count padding. There’s no reason why the four responses couldn’t have been combined into one post.
No it isn’t a rule that I’m aware of.

Well…I mean if you don’t have the _pheah_ of **alaric** already, then how am I supposed to trust that you’re going to join in pitting him? 😃
But the threads where I personally got to experience the _pheah_ are the most lovely titled GD thread, [We got the guy who got Sama’s kidneys;so of course he’s at Gitmo.
