RexDart, There are no commercials on BBC1 and BBC2 - they are funded by a compulsory license fee. 😃 Also when your Superbowl is on one of our commercial channels, we have to employ special guest commentators to fill the extra advertising slots coming from the US! ---

The fact that my reply was directed at the inappropriately arrogant behaviour of a few people who I called Americans because they happened to be Americans regarding their progress through the world cup just shows how fucked up most of those replies were! Youd think I said “I hate everything about America” For god’s sake people! get over yourselves. ---

The thing that annoyed me about America annoys me about Manchester United - They win everything all the time, they have everything, yet they still get excited when they are going to win yet another thing. IMO only people/fans who do not get much really deserve to get excited when they might win something. That is why the whole thing annoys me, not because I hate America (and I don’t I like more things about it than dislike) ---
