Boy, do I feel stupid. I never opened that thread, but assumed from the subject line it was looking for cooking tips. You know, a bit like “I’ve got some asparagus - what do you recommend I do with it?”, except this was “I’ve got pigeon eggs”. I suppose the fact it wasn’t in cafe society should have been a clue. And in case anyone is in any doubt, I am being a hundred percent serious. ---

Two baby mourning doves are currently growing to adulthood on the ground next to my mother’s house. The nest apparently feel from the window ledge above, the eggs survived and now we have thriving babies. They’re so calm and serene; we creep up to them and watch them from a distance of only about 6 feet. My little boy loves visiting the doves at grandma’s. Long live bird threads! ---

Same here. I thought it was a weird Thai cuisine. I read it yesterday though, and its a very interesting saga. I will continue to check in now! ---

I’m just curious, as always, how someone can be so self-centered that they would complain about something existing because they are not interested in it. I’d still like to know if you complain to the theaters for showing movie that do not interest you. As blisteringly idiotic as that sounds, that would actually be less moronic than this thread. Movie theaters have limited space, so them showing a movie you don’t like takes space where they could be showing a movie you do want to see. Since thread space on a message board is much less limited, you actually have managed to make an even _stupider_ complaint. ---
