A long time ago in France I had an icecream cone that was shaped so that multiple small balls (boules) of ice cream were held side by side. Anyone know of a source for these in the USA? (Or know what I’m talking about?) ---

Are you referring to something like the “double header” one shown [here](http://noveltycone.com/cake%20cones%20cake%20cups.htm)? ---

I remember these. For awhile they seemed to almost be the standard at ice cream shops, amusement parks, etc, around the '80s and early '90s, and then they just kind of disappeared. I had forgotten all about them. ---

I had forgotten all about them. They may have been “standard” in your neck of the woods, but where I grew up they were the height of sophistication. If you saw one with a chocolate flake in each cone, you knew you were looking at a high-roller! ---

I remember the ones in France being smaller and having more than two places for scoops. Of couse I used a lot of drugs in those days too. ---

No, I remember a triple one as well, just rarer than the doubles. ---
