I don’t know about anybody else, but I get totally distracted by some of the signature lines people use. I’ve effectively refused to post immediately after Sealemon, since when I read “You say cheesy like it’s a _bad_ thing” (even if it’s the sixth time I’ve seen it that day) as the last line of a thread, it completely boggles my train of thought. I’m not complaining; I have no problem whatsoever with Sealemon. But it’s a pozzlement. ---

I like it when posters keep the same sig line for a while - because when I’m reading, quickly, my eyes can skip the step of having to look left to see who wrote what. The sig identifies them in case I don’t look left. Just so’s you know. * * * Where are we going? And why am I in this handbasket? ---

Well, what can I say, give me a toy like a sig line, and I’m gonna play with it (insert joke here). The sig is one of my many personal sayings. It’s part of my philosophy (the other saying I thought of using was “Don’t ask a question you don’t want answered”). Kelli, I love your new sig. Where did the quote come from? And cow god, your sig is awesome. So’s your profile name, come to mention it. Polycarp: What can I say, I LIKE having my own little signature quote. Mine is obviously a tongue-in-cheek play on the Dennis Miller line, but it’s also a response to a phenomenon I’ve encountered in conversation I must admit I don’t fully understand. See, I’ve been accused of being arrogant, and I’ll admit I sometimes have that tendency, but what I don’t understand is when people say (with exasperation), “You always think you’re right!” ## Well, of course. Your opinion is by definition something you believe to be true. Do you know any sane people who hold opinions they believe to be _wrong?_🙂 Of course, that’s just my opinion . . . But I know I’m right. ---
