Chuck Berry’s only #1 hit was _My Ding-a-Ling_. Released in 1972 (though recorded earlier). 20 years into his career and well after his classic rock era.

The other Leonard Cohen songs I associate with him (“First We Take Manhattan” and “Everybody Knows”) came out even after that.

“Keep On Loving You” is REO Speedwagon’s signature song. It was on the group’s ninth album, the first album and the first single to go top twenty.
