# Signing posts with RL first names

My user name IS my real name. It’s very handy to have a name that looks like an internet handle, but no actual thought or creativity is required when registering. 🙂

\*Plus, it always seems like a waste of electrons to me to put a name at the bottom of your post. A sig is at least usually amusing, but signing your post adds no value when your user name is right there. \*
