Golly… what can we say in the face of such eloquence? I mean, I COULD try to make an intelligent, coherent argument for takign action against Saddam, but hey, I must admit, I’m overwhelmed by the brilliance of their sloganeering. I mean, calling G.W. Bush dumb… NOBODY’S ever thought of THAT before! ---

Oh, come on – like you could fit a coherent argument on a 2’x4’ piece of paper. That’s what the speakers are for; the signs are for wit and brevity. I went to the peace rally in DC on Jan 18 – my favorite sign said, “WHY YOU GOTTA BE ALL VIOLENT?” ---

I ran off about $300 worth of photocopies for a guy who was organising a large group of upstate New Yorkers to go down to that rally. A national newsfeed bit about the rally mentioned the contingent of NYers and I pointed at it and said “I know that guy!” He was very polite. His friend, though, I don’t like running copies off for, because he keeps up a running commentary about “how much of an asshole George Bush is” while I’m working the machine. ---
