I’m pretty exiciting. Sometimes. Most of the time, I’m pretty boring, as I suspect most everybody is. This is a thread for all those times you just sat back and thought “god, I’m dull. I’m going to jump out of a plane or something.” I’ll go first. A friend called me not long ago to check up. She had just returned from a modeling gig in New York and was about to fly out to Hollywood for some Sly Stalone film. Oh, and her last movie won a bunch of awards at the local film festival. Oh, what am I up to? Well, I’m…buying cat food at a gas station. ---

I’m so boring that it is difficult for me to stay up past 9:00. After all, I have to be up at 4:00 am for Coffee Talk and News with Mr. K. In case you were wondering, that’s pretty much the high point of my day. ---

When you’re me. I am The Party Pooper. Many times in my life I have become a new member to an established group of people. People who have parties on a regular basis. Maybe it’s your standard holiday get togethers. Or perhaps birthday parties. However, with each group, I hear the same conversations. “Man, this party last year, (before I joined said group) got really out of hand.” OR perhaps “Man, remember that one Memorial Day when we went out on the boat and did all that crazy stuff?” Meanwhile the same boat is all of ten feet away, just waiting for more fun times and since the only new element to the group is ME, the only logical conclusion is that somehow, I bring everybody down. I am The Party Pooper. ---

I’m in college and I go out like, twice a month if that. Also I love Sudoku and crossword puzzles. And I talk about biology a lot which 99% of people my age find boring. ---

I once got asked out by two hot women. I turned them down because I wanted to spend some time formatting an old notebook and reinstalling windows. I wish I were joking. In my defense, it was a pretty challenging install. 🙂 ---
