Anyone remember [Mighty Quinn](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K13hH0pJx5s) by Manfred Mann? God, I remember loving the hell out of that song when I was five. The oldies station played it all the time back then (would have been the late 80s), but I haven’t heard it in at least a decade. I just looked it up on Youtube and it made me make this face: 😃 I feel like wearing a goofy grin for the rest of the night. Anyone else have a stupid favorite song that time has forgotten? ---

A lot of Todd Rundgren stuff gets no respect: Hello It’s Me, I saw the Light, It Wouldn’t have Made Any Difference. Joe Jackson too: Fools in Love, Is She Really Going Out With Him, Look Sharp, Steppin’ Out, You Can’t Get What You Want (Till You Know What You Want), Sunday Papers. How come this stuff never gets air play? ---

Today I heard “[Puttin’ on the Ritz](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OG3PnQ3tgzY)” by Taco for the first time in several years. It was bouncy fun and I always liked the little snippet of “Alexander’s Ragtime Band” in there. Plus, I dare you not to sing the refrain like Peter Boyle in “[Young Frankenstein](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=co6-tYS9k1U)”. ---
