Now THAT is a mayor I can get behind. I will always vote for a politician with the sense of humour (all other things being equal).

It sounds like an insult to me because my uncle used to call my cousin and I, a couple of wingnuts. Insult-wise, a lugnut would be a slower, heavier version of a wingnut.

There is a baseball team in Taiwan called the **Brother Elephants**

By the way, the Calgary Flames used be the Atlanta Flames. The name is a reference to the burning of Atlanta. Still pretty strange, I think.

My vote goes there.

I personally think my college has a stupid mascot - the Skyhawk. What, as opposed to a Groundhawk? They changed it to the Skyhawk from the Pacer because “nobody knew what a Pacer was”. I guess they decided to be extra-explicit with the new one.
