# SimCity (2013) 10 year anniversary

Slightly off-topic, but I just discovered that the publisher of _Cities: Skyline_ is taking another cut at EA. They’ve announced _Life by You_, which will be a direct competitor with _The Sims_. They’re promising _Life by You_ to be extremely moddable, which is a high bar considering how moddable _The Sims_ is.

I’m a huge fan of _The Sims_, but not EA, and I’ll be following this development closely.
