It was! The jokes just weren’t funny. Lisa was completely out of character and the entire 3rd act made no sense whatsoever. They didn’t even attempt to tie up the loose ends. They have seriously jumped the shark on this one. ---

The funniest part was when the aliens blew up the White House. “No more oops, okay?” That was a funny scene. But the funniest part was when the aliens were destroyed by that virus! What a hoot! They seem to be getting their old speed back. Was I the only one who thought that the characters looked like real people? And that Homer looked like Will Smith? And who would have thought that Springfield was in Thereisno_Simpsons_thisweek, Indiana? I figured it would be in _They’reshowing_IndependenceDay\*instead, Kentucky…or maybe ShowinganewepisodeagainsttheSuperBowlwouldberatingssuicide, Hawaii. ---

At first I had a problem with turning Moe’s into a leather bar, but the Homer/Lennie/Mr. Burns 3-way was some of the finest animated erotica ever made. ---
