How about Bart taking the cherry filling out of chocolate covered cherries and replacing it with rotting mayonnaise? Have any of the major simpsons characters gotten fast-food jobs? A hanging? ---

As for the Futurama thing…I seem to recall Groening saying that in the Futurama universe, _The Simpsons_ is still on the air. That, and when Bender pulled the string on the Bart Simpson doll, it said “Eat My Shorts,” not “I Didn’t Do It!” And, of course, the fact that the Simpsons characters on Futurama are still canary yellow, not pink. And I don’t think the Simpsons have featured… -Abortion. -The successful suicide of a major character. -Homer selling someone into white slavery. ---
