A couple of Yeardley Smith trivia items. Her real name is Martha Smith. Yeardley is her middle name. When she first auditioned for the Simpsons, she read for the role of Bart. ---

Does anyone else remember seeing her on the first “Mathnet” series on the old Square One TV show? She was the little girl that befriended the kidnapped gorilla that had begun robbing stores. She was, like, 10 or 11 at the time, and already sounded just like Lisa. What? Why are you looking at me like that? ---

Oh, dear . . . I thought that was one of the _worst_ show-biz memoirs I have ever read–barely got through it. Cloying, too sweet, every celebrity is “wooonderful” and “cuuute.” No good “backstage” details about the cast or crew, or how the show is put together–can _not_ recommend it at all. Really needed a ghostwriter and better editor. ---

Yeah, but Yeardley Smith isn’t on the SDMB. Personal insults belong in the Pit. And I have to see the context of **Hayduke** ’s hypothetical quote before I could tell you how I’d respond. Generally, no one is more willing to mock my pathetic sex life than I am, so odds are I’d cut him a fair bit of slack. ---

IIRC, Yeardley Smith also played the checkout girl Daniel Stern knocked up in _City Slickers_. Yep, she’s cute–I’d “give her a twirl.” ---

Christ Allmighty! My OP had to do with having sex with the voice of Lisa Simpson simply _BECAUSE_ it was Lisa Simpsons voice moaning and groaning. Not really a slur against Yeardly herself. (but what exatly kind of name is Yeardly?).
