I didn’t get the **Boys From Brazil** reference in the episode _Bart Vs. Australia_ until watching the movie a year ago. I always wondered what Hitler was doing in the southern hemisphere and what he was doing alive.

“Buenos noches, mein Fuhrer!”

It took me a while to realize why the name “Seymour Skinner” is funny.

I just saw this one the other day. In the episode where Homer buys a gun, the name of the shop is **Bloodbath & Beyond**.

Just discovered one tonight. On the episode where Homer’s jaw gets wired shut, Marge goes nuts and participates in a demolition derby. She gets stuck, and somebody starts repeatedly ramming her car. Homer charges in on a donkey and yells “Stop banging my wife!”

It’s obvious; I simply never paid attention to the line before.

The episode where the family befriends the homosexual John and Homer is afraid of Bart becoming gay had a part where Marge presents store-bought treats for dessert. The two choices are black cupcakes and pink cupcakes. Bart puts his hand over the black cupcake tray, and Homer nods happily, then Bart moves his hand oever to the pink cupcake tray and Homer looks horrified, then back and forth for a while, and Bart eventually takes a pink cupcake, to the horror of Homer.

The first time I saw it, I thought that Homer simply wanted more pink cupcakes for himself.
