In the clip montage today (4/21), they had a picture of Homer waterskiing over a shark. This is obviously a “jumping the shark” reference, but did they throw it in just for this episode or is it an actual clip of an earlier episode? ---

According to the “We Didn’t Start the Fire”-inspired lyrics, the last still frames were from potential future stories. ---

The episode where Homer went to college had a similar montage sequence at the end. I remember Homer waterskiing, but I’m not sure it was over a shark. ---

Nope. He was wearing a toga and a crown of ivy, but there was no shark.
