# Simpsons Opening Titles Go HD

This Sunday, _The Simpsons_ will air its first HD episode, which will feature the show’s [new opening titles](http://www.tvweek.com/news/2009/02/sundays_simpsons_goes_hd_updat.php). It’s basically the same classic sequence, but extra characters and gags have been added. (This one features an overly long couch gag.) I think it’s a great update.

I like the little touches, like making the TV at the end an LCD or plasma.

Lots of great touches and the couch part was great! I can almost forgive them for taking away the ‘clink’.
