The Simpsons have changed my use of the word “party” to box social. Not quite the Simpsons, but I’ve found myself using “Dukelicious” and “Duketastrophy” fairly often. ---

Sometimes I enter a room (usually at work) and say, “Hi eveleybody!” A-la doctor Nick. Mr. Burns (IIRC) teaching Homer to golf. “You need an open faced club - a sand wedge.” Homer: “Mmmmmm… open faced club sandwich…” Which I usually use whenever I’m golfing. Whenever I break something, it’s “I bent my Wookie.” by Ralph Wiggums. Of course, those aren’t in common use. Just in my little world. ---

Around my house, we’re constantly saying, “My cat’s breath smells like cat food!” because we have a cat who likes to (try to) French kiss everyone. Most people who hear us say this get the reference. ---
