In the Stonecutter’s episode, Homer puts a can of paint under Lenny’s car when Lenny and Carl are going to the Stonecutters meeting. Homer says “No one has ever done anything this clever.” and then laughs. I figure that this has to be a parody of another show or movie but I have no idea what from. Can anybody help me out?

“The Simpsons: A Complete Guide to Our Favourite Family” has many references to references to other shows and movies, but none for this episode. So I’m guessing its not. I just think it was supposed to be funny because roads already have yellow paint on them.

Yeah that is what I thought, too. And Yellow Drip Road- that’s a parody on the Wizard of Oz…
