# Sims 2: I already have the CD - would the DVD be worth buying, too?

I didn’t have a DVD drive when I bought Sims 2 so I had to settle for the CD instead. I have one now and so far my only DVD-ROM is City of Heroes. Do the extras on the Sims 2 DVD make it worth buying even though I already have the CD?

What would I do with the CD? Give it to my SO, assuming her computer can handle it.

Why would you buy the DVD? There are barely any extras to speak of on it. And those there are, were shipped on another CD to people who pre-ordered the CD version, so you could probably find that on e-bay by itself.

I have the DVD version myself, but never bothered to even look at the extras since it’s almost entirely making-of movies, and those don’t interest me.

I never looked at the extras either. Maybe I should. Who knows what goodies are there (besides making-of movies).

So I guess that special extras on the DVD aren’t that special, is that it? I’ll just stick with getting University when I see it.
