> The elephant in the room; what about DRM? It’s published by EA, who also gave us the horrendous DRM issues with Mass Effect and Spore. If they go down that route there’s no way I’ll be interested.

They confirmed the only DRM will be the unlock key–no limited amount of installs like Spore.

Answering my own question; apparently it doesn’t have invasive DRM! Might well get this on release, then.

Finally, they’ve learnt their lesson. I’d wager they weren’t willing to risk another Spore-esque debacle.

Edit; also, thanks **Red Barchetta.**

Excellent. Thanks for the info. My machine up to snuff (although I could use more RAM anyway – I’ve been hovering on 1gig for a few years now).

> If you age-accelerate toddlers, you’re wasting valuable skill building time. You can make toddlers a lot less annoying with these two hacks:
>
> 1. Squinge’s [employee refresh](http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=7009) - Click on “owner refresh” and you never have to see to _any_one’s needs again.
>
> 2. Tunaisafish’s [smartdoor](http://www.modthesims2.com/d/129124) - face the arrows **into** the room where you plan to imprison your toddlers. Chose “halt ages” as the mode, and under settings pick “halt toddlers” and then they won’t be able to leave the room and trail after adults asking for stuff.
>
> Give them skill-building toys, and forget about them until they’re children.

The most annoying thing about babies and toddlers is the teens and adults obsessions with them. They could be dying and the baby is sleeping peacefully with all its needs satisfied but they would rather go pick up the baby and hold it until they die or piss themselves. They also insist on constantly bathing toddlers that have full hygiene, pervs. I have had to remove access to babies and toddlers so that adults will stop pestering them, the problem is they can still telepathically wake up sleeping toddlers. And not everyone should like kids, why does the visiting curmudgeon who hates everyone still want to pick up everyone’s babies?

I sure hope they manage to eliminate all these annoying “features” before they release the new game but I probably won’t be buying it until it’s been out for a while and the hackers have had time to make fixes for all the “features”.
