# Since when did Liberal equate to Non-Religious?

I have seen this first hand. I believe its people who think, erroneously, that God is on their side only.  
That anyone who claims to be a Christian cannot ever be pro-choice or anything a “liberal” is.  
No one, to these folk, can stand up for God and be democrat, much less liberal.  
They do not want separation of church and state, they want a theocracy; their kind.  
Its kindof isolationism.  
I’ve even heard one say only republicans have a conscience!  
These people flock together and cnanot abide any disagreement.
