Yeah, Supes has latent telekinesis, apparently.

Thor’s hammer is magic, and it drags him through the air.

Binding WW’s hands together used to render her powerless, but I think they’ve stopped that now.

If you think that’s bad, you should read some of the old Golden Age stories written by Wonder Woman’s creator, William Moulton Marston. I remember one – and I’m not making this up – where WW bent over so that a man standing behind her could use her back as a table and write a note. That prompted WW to exclaim, “Oh! You’re poking me!”

Then there was the time when WW was taken captive and tied – spread-eagle, of course – across a door. Someone then tried to open the door, hitting her in the rump several times. “Stop spanking me! I’ll be good!” she yelped.

Oy vey!

I had heard that his bondage fantasies were pretty obvious, but I didn’t realise they were this bad.

The writer for the Justice Society adventures in the 1940s always had Wonder Woman back at the clubhouse, writing the minutes, while the other (usually non-powered) men went off fighting supervillains or whatever. Pure sexism - she was a lot stronger than all of them, but got stuck with the admin work.

Quite frankly I’m a bit surprised that WW is gtting such a bad rep for early sexism. Wasn’t she created on a dare that no one would read the adventures of a female superhero?

> Oh, sure, Isis could tell the wind what to do, but look at her when she takes off! Is she leaping into the sky with one fist forward like Superman does? Heck no! She just stands there with her arms stretched out at 45-degree angles to her sides, letting herself get “swept up by the moment” as the Zephyr Winds blow her skirt up.

And how do you hold your hands when you fly?

What? You can’t fly? Oh…

Score one for the Mighty Isis I guess.
