Far as I can tell, **Dan** only used the Nazi attack on **Ben** , [apologized for it](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=56325&highlight=nazi) but [evidently didn’t mean it](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=61819&highlight=nazi). ---

**Lynn** I believe that **Izzy** was questioning the **number** of people **DITWD** did the “big lie/Nazi” thing to. I’d only recalled **Ben** myself, but in the linked threads he did indeed use the phrase “the Big Lie” with a number of other posters, inlcuding **Fenris** , though he did not, in the linked thread, include the tag line “and your friend Goebels”. Though, I would point out that using **just** “The BIG LIE” _after_ the warning wrt “big lie and your friend” was not the brightest move, especially after dicussions wrt to phrase itself being a Nazi term.
