I wouldn’t call it stupid. In 1992 she tore up a picture of Pope John Paul II on Saturday Night Live. A lot of people were very angry. So no, not just the Pope shit. ETA: I didn’t care about the Pope shit, I left the RCC long before that bit of silliness on live TV. ---

I thought she was brave and correct when she was on SNL back in 1992 and I loved her debut album; I hope she can find some peace. Last year I worked on a project inspired by Vaporware where I altered existing songs tempos, keys and timbres; one of her songs was among the first 3 or 4 that I worked on.
