I am a guitarist, and I find his playing a bit boring. His solos all sound interchangeable. Granted, his technique is superb. He has like 30 or 40 go-to licks, and he can incorporate them seamlessly. But I think his best, most creative work was with Cream.
I can’t stand her stuff from the late ‘90s, but her first two albums from the early ‘90s are enjoyable.
