It changes regularly (there are dozens of contenders)… but at the moment, I’d go with “Hey Bulldog.” ---

_She Loves You (Yeah, Yeah Yeah)_. Not becuse it’s the best, but because it whisks me right back to when I first heard it, when I was six years old and my older sister got her first Beatles records. We would play them and dance around like idiots, wildly shaking our heads at the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs. ---

it’s perpetually between **a day in the life** and **dear prudence** those are my two favorites and depending on the day, one of those is my favorite, with a close third being **eleanor rigby** but as most people point out, picking a favorite beatles song is like picking a favorite child… ---
