There are many from **Arrested Development** that I’d like to list, but a lot seem to depend on context and delivery. Here’s one from the very first episode that started me rapidly toward being a fan: Buster: Actually, I’m studying cartography now - the mapping of uncharted territories. Michael: Hasn’t everything already sort of been discovered, though, by, like Magellan, Cortez… NASA? Buster: Oh, yeah, yeah… Those guys did a _pretty_ good job… But there’s still… Lucille: (appearing between her sons) It never hurts to double-check. ---

Thirding Mr. Palmer in Sense and Sensibility - “Try.” Also Alan Rickman is great in that: “No doubt - _no doubt_, Mrs. Jennings has informed you . . .” That lathe line from Galaxy Quest slays me every time. Whenever Dark Phoenix and I feel someone has made a ridiculously impossible request, we quote that. Another from O Brother: “Well, ain’t this place a geographical oddity. Two weeks from everywhere!” So many lines from Futurama make me laugh every time. At the moment all I can think of is, “Aw, he looks like an insane drunken angel!” ---
