OK so I missed the start of the movie. The wife likes it and we turned it on a little late. How is Whoopi Goldberg still a nun in Sister Act II? Wasn’t she under police protection in the first one and placed in the convent for safekeeping? Once that danger had passed did she repent and join the Convent? My apologies if this has been covered. ---

Somehow I don’t think this has already been covered … 🙂 She was begged to come back and help out the nun’s school, which was about to be closed. She became a teacher there (she and her nun friends from the previous movie lied to the principal that she was a nun), and of course saved the school. Arjuna34 ---
