My sister is a bitch i know this sounds childish but you dont know her. Heres a question that proves how screwed up she is How do you think someone should be when they stop sucking her thumb , 5,6, 10? but no my sister is 15 and she still sucks her thumb! No one can stop her ! and you might thonk that that is the only reson i hate her but you just cant even understand.I mean she read my diary! it is just so frusrating!!! ---

You know what? The actual adult and mature thing to do about your sister’s thumb sucking is to not bitch about it and be concerned about other things–because, honestly, there’s plenty more to get your panties in a knot over. This will probably be an unpopular opinion, but, in regards to your diary: if you cannot keep it in a locked situation (a chest or footlocker) or on your person at all times where she cannot get to it, then don’t keep a diary. Or, at least don’t write anything in it that would upset/embarrass you if she read it. I kept a journal when I was in school, but I never wrote anything that would implicate me in any particular activity (nothing illegal, of course) because I knew my mother had a habit of going through my things. Thing is, we actually _do_ understand what it was to be a teenager, and to have annoying siblings that do things to piss us off. ---

Okay. She read my diary! \> BITCH! I can understand. But She sucks her thumb! \> BITCH! is simply retarded. Don’t want her reading your diary? Ask her not to. Get your parents/guardians involved. Hide the damn thing better. Don’t want her sucking her thumb? Well, that’s not really any of your business or your problem, is it? I mean, she might be utterly appalled by your spelling and grammar, but I’m sure she’s not calling you names and telling thousands of people on a public message board about _your_ problems. If she is, then hell, screw what I just said. If you’re telling us about her thumbsucking because you’re concerned about its effect on her teeth (braces are expensive, ya know, and cut into that college fund), then I’m sure there are more constructive ways of bringing this to her attention. Thumbsucking is an act of self-comfort, to reduce stress. Instead of telling total strangers how screwed up she is because she does this, why not just leave her alone? She’ll outgrow it. Or she won’t Either way, why does it matter to you? I am so glad I’m an only child. ---

The diary thing sucks. Java’s right, I disagree with her. Maybe because my family was really good at respecting privacy. But yea, get a journal with a lock on it or keep one online. Journals are supposed to be a place where you can write anything, even things other people shouldn’t know. Just watch that you don’t get Harrieted. I kept mine with me all the time because it was easy for me to get to when I wanted to update it, but I’ve switched to an online one now because my handwriting sucks. As for your age, there will be poeple who yell about it (as evidenced) but as long as you understand that this is not the kiddie table, and can handle being treated as an adult, you will find that most people will be happy to oblige. Oh, and thinking your sister is a bitch because she sucks her thumb is just silly, IMHO. Ask her to stay out of your journal and up your security measures and forgive her. ---

Why does everyone keep saying that i called her a bitch for sucking her thumb?
