Yes Yes, I have searched for the answer to this question but can’t seem to find it. Is there any sites on the net that allow you to type in an actors name and get back the answers for the Six degrees of Kevin Bacon game? ---

I just did a search on Yahoo#. First put in “six degrees”. Found about 20 sites regarding this. Did a search using “Kevin Bacon”. Found about 15. When you do your searches, what language do you use? Have you made up your own? * * * Sala, can’t you count?!? I said NO camels! That’s FIVE camels! ---

There’s a Yahoo category CALLED “The Kevin Bacon Game”. And Yahoo is probably one of the worst search engines to use. Sorry if I sound like an ass. Its early and I’m cynical today. ---

jackas there’s also a site (under the “Kevin Bacon game” category) that lets you put the start and end actors/actresses. Like if you wanted to get from Harvey Keitel to Charlie Sheen, it’ll tell you. ---

OK, two of my biographical subjects—Jean Harlow and Anna Held—have surprising but legit Bacon numbers of 3. BUT— The Oracle says: Theda Bara has a Bacon number of 3. Theda Bara was in Love Goddesses, The (1965) with Sophia Loren Sophia Loren was in Mortadella, La (1971) with William Devane William Devane was in Hollow Man, The (2000) with Kevin Bacon Oracle, my eye! Theda died in 1955; “The Love Goddesses” was a compilation film of clips. So that one is really stretching. ---

Geez, thanks for moving this thread while I was trying to post to it. Eve, when I used to play this rather silly game I always held Louise Brooks as my ace. No one could ever figure out the connection. Louise Brooks to WC Fields in “It’s the Old Army Game.” Fields to Mae West in “My Little Chickadee.” West to Tom Selleck in “Myra Breckenridge.” Selleck to Matt Dillon in “In and Out.” Dillon to Kevin Bacon in “Wild Things.” Theda Bara can be done legitimately via Oliver Hardy in “Madam Mystery.” Then Oliver Hardy to Vivian Blaine in “Jitterbugs.” Blaine to William Devane in “The Dark.” Devane to Kevin Bacon in “The Hollow Man” (which I don’t think is released yet so you may not count it because you’re such a purist). So she’s legitimately a 4. ---
