Afternoon, everyone. Sorry the **Tigs** are still sick-ish. It’s Dad’s birthday today. He’s 77. I’m having trouble with that number because I’m still 29. Well, until October. Mr. Lissar’s grandparents are younger than that. I was informed by both Mr. Lissar and **QD** that Crunchie bars are disgusting and evil, and I should have bought a giant box of peanut butter cups instead. Look, guys, if you don’t like them, that means I get to eat them. Win-win for me! And what kind of sick, twisted person hates sponge toffee? :waits for inevitable chorus of ‘I hate sponge toffee!’: Right. The MMP hath spoken. Next time I see QD I will beat her with a Clue Stick. **Stasia** , what do you usually charge for your soaps? I used to sometimes get things from **Bumbazine** , but since he’s gone, I have no Friendly Internet Soap Purveyor. 😃 ---

Email fall down, go boom, doesn’t get back up. ☹ IT is having a very, very, very bad week. The pro-Outlook people are having a field day, as if Outlook never goes down. We are having trouble getting any work done without email. I think our phone bill will be triple this month. The one good thing is that my desk will be clean when I leave tonight. ---

I need to get my sleep cycle adjusted. I am not happy about waking up at 3:30 every doggone morning. ☹ It was a true struggle staying awake at work today. But now I’m home, so yay. SIL put away the clean dishes without being told directly - I just left a note that the dishes were clean - mostly so he wouldn’t put dirties in there. So yay for empty dishwasher! I was going to put another coat of paint on the basement doorway, but it’s raining, so that ain’t gonna happen. I’ve got other chores to do to occupy my time. Like that’ll happen…hehehe \*\*FCD \*\* is still in Phila. SIL is working till 9. It’s just me and my critters. And I’m thinking I’ll have an early bedtime tonight. I may also take off early tomorrow and play with clay. Now, who let all these bats in here?!?!? ---

**swampus** , sponge toffee isn’t soft at all - it’s caramelized sugar that is foamed just as it is hardening, which means it’s the perfect cross between crunchy and melty. Good stuff. ([wiki link](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sponge_toffee)) I guess it’s one of those things that’s much more common here in Canadia due to our starchy Britishified history, and explains why y’all don’t get Crunchie bars south of the border. I’m still having trouble coping with the fact that both of my folks will soon qualify for senior’s pricing on stuff (well, for the places that start it at 60, anyway). **Shadow** , what kind of email are you guys using? Is anyone else suddenly getting lots of emails from CNN Alerts and MSNBC new updates or something like that? They’re all getting caught in my spam filter, and I’ve just been deleting them, but I’m wondering why I’m suddenly getting 3-5 of them a day. ---

**Muppet** , you got it in one. I have worked at two other large companies when they switched from LN to Outlook. It was ugly, and they were only using LN strictly as an email client. I don’t even want to think about having to go through that transition here. I lurve honeycomb (sponge toffee)! When I was little, my mom would buy me a piece at Sears if I was good. We only went to Sears to pick up catalog orders, but there was always a line at the catalog counter and I was a fidgety little kid. K-mart had popcorn and Icees and Thrifty had the ice cream counter and we weren’t supposed to have any of it. But if I was really good and promised not to tell Daddy, I could have a treat. So I would have been about 3. I wonder how well the “don’t tell Daddy” bit worked on a 3 year old?
