Still, I thought the Lakers would sweep. It’d be the upset of the, um, _real long time_ if the Sixers won the championship.

…I’ve got the day off today, but I wish I could see the expressions on the faces of my co-workers, many of whom are Laker fans of the bandwagon variety after last night’s loss.

Guessing not quite as smug as yesterday’s.

I remember years ago, the American League team was supposted to sweep the Cincinnati Reds and instead the Reds swept them in the World Series.

Just dreaming, but I can do that until at least tomorrow night.

The A’s. Who were one series victory from being the Buffalo Bills (a good, almost great team over a period of years that kept missing winning the championship–good enough for second best).

If the Lakers had lost last night, this series would be OVER.
