Ska makes me want to be out having fun

When I listen to Sublime’s catalog, I hear punk, ska, rap, and reggae. Great band.

Date Rape is definitely a good Ska example, as is All You Need.

That’s the thing. I hear Sublime described as a ska band, but the were much more than that.

80s 2Tone Revival Ska is my Ska - Madness, The Beat, The Selecter , The Specials. Often a sense of fun, but also some social messages and quite a great raw musicality - as much a child of punk as of original ska.

I have a CD recorded by local ska band The Planet Smashers. I had the CD on when I was trying to do some work, and the music kept making me want to dance!
